METHODS OF CLEANING AND PURIFYING CRYSTALS

In order to leave intact all the natural energies of the crystals, to strip them of any undesirable forces they may have accumulated along the way, starting with those of the people who handled them before arriving in my hands, they must first be cleaned.

Several methods of purification are presented here and there, and may vary according to the users, the books and their authors.

The intention is not to detail all the purification techniques that would serve as models, but rather to share some applications that could guide you in your personal research.

In order to preserve the effectiveness of the crystals you have chosen, it is suggested to purify them regularly, according to their frequency of use, by bathing them in pure water (preferably spring water), if possible in an un-plasticized container.

WATER IS A UNIVERSAL PURIFIER

Water effectively removes all traces of polluting energy. Depending on the type of care you will have practiced (especially with rock crystal) you can eventually purify their aura with slightly salty water. I personally prefer to replace salt by clay, or softer physiological serum.

Rinse with pure water, dry with a very clean cloth or quickly in the sun.

Some crystals can dissolve in water, such as selenite (gypsum), or crumble considerably after a bath, especially some rough stones (celestine, chrysocolla, mica…). You will choose in this case to pass them quickly under tap water, expressing internally the will that all the negative energies present in the crystal go away with the water.

THE SUN IS ALSO AN EXCELLENT PURIFYING AGENT

It is using its morning energy when its radiation is not yet at its peak. The crystal does not burn; it cleans and recharges itself at the same time. Some translucent crystals (kunzite, hiddenite, amethyst, aquamarine, fluorine…) become discoloured by too intense or prolonged exposure.

OTHER PURIFICATION METHODS: (DEVELOPED IN MORE DETAIL DURING THE TRAINING COURSES)

  • Crystalline cluster or geode (quartz, amethyst…)
  • Purification by incense, breath and plant sticks
  • Purification through the earth
  • Purification by visualization or sound (Tibetan bowls, crystal bowl…)

In reality, it is not the way that matters but the purifying intention to which the crystal can respond! What is important is to ensure that the negative or undesirable energies, once they have left the crystal, are always transformed into good energies.
